MCNY City of Faith

Motion, Interaction

2022

Isometric collaborated with the Museum of the City of New York on City of Faith: Religion, Activism, and Urban Space, an exhibition examining South Asian religious communities and their entwinement with public spaces in New York City. While interning and then freelancing with Isometric, I created an animation sequence projected in the entry of the exhibition that depicts places of worship in relation to their neighborhoods within Queens, New York. In addition to the morphing neighborhoods of Queens is an accompanying map of the borough that visualizes each location in context to each other.
